Firearms safety guidelines


Please read these conditions carefully or ask for a copy

The “10 commandments” for target shooting, recreational shooting & hunting.

 

1 Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction.

2 Firearms should be unloaded when not in actual use.

3 Don’t rely on your gun’s safety.

4 Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

5 Use the correct ammunition type and caliber for the firearm.

6 If the gun fails to fire when the trigger is pulled, handle with care and wait.

7 Always wear eye and ear protection when shooting.

8 Be sure the barrel is clear of obstructions and dirt of excessive oil before shooting.

9 Do not alter or modify your firearm leave this to professional gunsmith, and have your guns serviced regularly.

10. Be sure to know your firearms mechanical and handling characteristics before use.
